NAHJ Sunnah™: Hadith

The Hadith Library: Two Books, Basic to Intermediate.

Classical Islamic education never began with Sahih Bukhari. It began with one short, foundational book, then one intermediate book. NAHJ Sunnah™ follows that same order.

The two books

  • Illustration of Al-Arba'in al-Nawawiyyah, Imam Nawawi's forty foundational hadith.
    Basic

    Al-Arba'in al-Nawawiyyah (Imam Nawawi's 40 Hadith)

The most universally taught starting point in the Muslim world: forty concise narrations covering the foundations of faith, character, and practice.

  • Illustration of Riyadh al-Salihin, Imam Nawawi's thematic collection for spiritual and moral formation.
    Intermediate

    Riyadh al-Salihin (Imam Nawawi)

The natural next step: comprehensive spiritual and moral formation, organized by theme. Our most extensive lecture series.

Where This Stops, and Why

We don't teach Sahih Bukhari or Sahih Muslim here, and we're not adding a third book yet either. If you're ready to go further, we'll point you toward institutions built for exactly that kind of study: Al-Azhar, Darul Uloom Karachi, SeekersGuidance, and Bayyinah Dream, among others. That's not a gap in our library. It's a boundary we chose on purpose: two books taught properly, rather than many taught thinly.

How It’s Taught

Every lecture explains meaning and context (never just recitation) in 10–15 minutes, available whenever you want it, with no schedule to keep. Selected lectures include a Continue Learning™ companion note.
