How We Use AI in Our Recorded Teaching
This page explains where and how Nahj Ul Quraan Institute uses AI-assisted production in its recorded lessons. We disclose it openly, in full, because trust is the foundation of religious education. Nothing about how we teach should be hidden.
What Uses AI-Clone Production
Our recorded teaching is produced using an AI-clone of the founder’s own voice and likeness. This includes the video lessons, the Continue Learning™ recordings linked from each NAHJ Guide’s QR codes, and the free Try Your First Lesson recordings.
Live teaching is not. Live 1-on-1 classes are taught by real teachers, in real time, never by an AI-clone.
Ownership and Consent
The voice and likeness used belong to the founder, Islamic Scholar Muhammad Shareef Ullah. The clone is built from his own voice and image, with his consent, and the intellectual property is his own. This is not a third party’s likeness, and it is not an unconsented synthetic voice.
Quality and Review
Before any AI-clone recording is published, the founder personally reviews it. The institute does not publish teaching in his voice that he has not approved. The technology carries the lesson, but the founder-scholar remains responsible for what is taught in his voice.
Why This Exists
Recorded AI-clone production lets a solo-founder institution produce consistent, high-quality recorded teaching at a scale it could not otherwise sustain. That is the whole reason it exists: an operational reality, stated plainly. It is neither something we sell as a novelty nor something we hesitate to disclose.
